Spring has come to our church and God has amply provided. As in past years, seasonal flowers from a parishioner’s garden, fields and woods are used as an offering to God on our altar. Dried flowers are grown especially for winter months, with Lent as a welcome reprieve. The emergence of fresh flowers bring us special joy.
Nothing says “spring in Maine” more than daffodils and forsythias! Small balsam fir trees form a support and add some greenery.
